Job Purpose
The role of a Head of Treasury is to oversee the Management of all financial matters within the group, including banks relations, Bank Financing, cash flow, and related financial reports.
He will be responsible for managing the organization’s treasury function and managing the Group’s Cash Flow budget in accordance with its financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish organization’s cash management strategies including plans to ensure efficient use of group’s cash and ability to raise liquidity.
- Prepare and review all the bank facilities applications that includes but not limited to LC’s, LG’s, Tender Bonds, Performance Bonds, LTR’s, Bill Discounting and other credit instruments, such as the bill of exchange, promissory notes, cheques, etc.
- Execute LC’s in addition to other trade finance and banks facilities instruments.
- Lead the department’s cash flow budgeting processes to acquire funds.
- Ensure that a company’s cash flow is adequate to allow it to operate effectively.
- Frequent supervision and follow-up to ensure allocation of daily banking works, documents, and cash transmittal.
- Plan and report estimated cash flow on a weekly, bimonthly, monthly, and quarterly basis by reviewing the funding needs, and report all the treasury activities to senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of Treasury experience, preferably in a listed manufacturing corporation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance.
- Preferred Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
- Desired to have Strong Business acumen, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in Banking systems with good knowledge of cash Management principles.
